Q.Do I need to register as a buyer to bid at an Auction?

 

A.Yes. In order to buy from our Auction, you will be required to register as a buyer. registeration is $2.00, catalogue included.

 

Q.How often are the auctions held?

 

A. Every Saturday at11:00 AM, Please refer to Auction time table.

 

Q.When Can I View Products?

 

A. Products are available for viewing Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 10.30 am before auction. Friday is the best day to view items

 

Q.What is Buyers Premium?

 

A.Buyers Premium is a charge of 11% that is added to the knock down price of every lot sold.
For example if you bid on an item for $100 the amount payable will be $111.00.

 

Q.Do I have to pay GST on top of my bid price?

 

A.No. All Auctions at A1 are GST inclusive.

 

Q.Is Transport Available?

 

A.Yes. We have provided a list of reliable carriers for your convenience on our services page. Alternativley you may arrange your own carrier.

 

Warranty

 

Q.Do the electrical items have a warranty?

 

A.Most electrical items offered in our Auction carry a manufacturers parts and labour warranty. Please check the warranty details in the description of goods found in our catalogue. Catalogues can be viewed and printed simply click on the catalogues button at the top of this page.

 

Q.How can I pay for my my goods?

 

 

A. Payment can be made by Cash, Bank Cheque, Direct Deposit or Eftpos we also accept Visa, Mastercard & Bankcard.
Personal Cheques & Business Cheques are not accepted.
Please note credit card payments are not accepted over the phone and must made in person.

If payment is made with credit cards, a bank process fee will be applied to the total, master, VISA, Bank Card 1.8%; Maerican Express, Diners club 3%.



Q.How soon can I pick up my goods?

 

 

A.Most goods can be collected within 1 hour of purchase. However some larger goods may require the use of a forklift & short delays could occur. Pick up times do vary for each auction. You should make further enquiries when registering.

   

Q.How long can I leave my goods on site?

 

 

A.Here at A1 we hold Auctions on a weekly basis. Therefore it is necessary for us to have all purchases removed from our premesis within the specified time to enable us to prepare for the next Auction.
